Course Overview
Course Aim
This course will benefit those working directly within children’s services. It will help support workers recognise the signs and symptoms of neglect and abuse and give them the confidence to deal with the situation and who to report it to.
Course Content
On successful completion of the training program and assessment will enable candidate to understand:
- Legislation relevant to Protection of Children
- Define abuse
- Types of abuse
- Understanding vulnerability
- Recognition of the signs and symptoms of abuse
- Documenting and reporting abuse
- Taking action to protect the child
Course-Duration
Online: The timing and duration is flexible to your requirement.
In-house: This course is run over a period of 4 hours. Minimum of 8 delegates required.
Course-Certification
A certificate of attendance is awarded on successful completion of the course.
