Course-Aim
This course is focused on people working in a health care sector with individuals that have dementia.

Course-Content
On Successful completion of this course, candidate would be clear on:

• Different types of Dementia including Alzheimer’s
• Understand the dementia process
• Understand the need for the person-centred approach
• Be familiar with communication methods
• Be aware of behavioural responses
• Understand how to promote and maintain quality of life
• Establish an awareness of the rights of the individual

Course-Duration
Online: The timing and duration is flexible to your requirement.
In-house: This course is run over a period of 3 hours. Minimum of 8 delegates required.

Course-Certification
A certificate of attendance is awarded on successful completion of Dementia Awareness.
