The Care Certificate is the start of the career journey in Health and Social care settings. This training course will make them ready to practice within their specific sector. Although the Care Certificate is designed for new staff, new to care and offers this group of staff their first step on their career ladder, it also offers opportunities for existing staff to refresh or improve their knowledge.From April 2015, The Care Certificate is to replace the Common Induction Standards. The Care Certificate incorporate 15 standards that are specific to health and social care.
The fifteen standards map across to the mandatory units of the new Health and Social Care QCF Diploma to ensure there is a consistency of approach for the workforce.
