Course-Aim
This course covers the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and Skills for Care requirements. It meets one of the mandatory standards of the Common Induction Standards. It will help care workers to develop their skills of communication and be able to understand many different ways of communicating with individuals.

Course-Content
On successful completion, learners would understand:

  • Reasons for effective communication
  • Use of Verbal and non verbal communication
  • Effective listening
  • Physical contact
  • Barriers to communication
  • Record keeping
  • Effective team work on communication

Course-Duration
Online: The timing and duration is flexible to your requirement.
In-house: This course is run over a period of 3 hours. Minimum of 8 delegates required.
