The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of Business and Administration. It provides an introduction into the principles and processes of Business and Administration and will aid progression to level 2 qualifications.

The BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration (QCF) is approved for the Foundation Learning catalogue.
To achieve the BTEC Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration (QCF), learners must achieve a minimum of 15 credits:
Seven credits must be completed from Group A mandatory units
A minimum of 4 credits from core units
A maximum of four credits from optional units

Work in a Business Environment
Communicate in a Business Environment
Learners who complete the Level 1 qualification could progress to the Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration.
Flexible study but could be completed within 1 month.
